Gently pull off the rest of the liner and seal the two sheets together firmly

Laminators are excellent for preserving and protecting documents, photos, newspaper clippings, and more. But what do you do if you don't have a laminator? You can try contact paper, though this doesn't have the same effect. To meet this need, GBC created self seal laminating sheets. These are simply laminating pouches that you can seal without the use of a laminator. Here is a guide on how to use GBC Self Seal laminating sheets. First, you'll want to choose between the three different styles. These pouches come in regular permanent or repositionable laminate for straight-to-the-point lamination. The basic difference between these is that one can be moved after sticking and one can't. Or you can choose fun Framed PhotoPop Pouches to add a decorative border to your items. Which one is best for you depends on your needs. Next, make sure the style you choose fits your size materials.

While the PhotoPop Frames are fun and colorful, be aware that they are only designed to be used with 4 x 6 photos. Permanent pouches come in sizes for wallet cards and pictures, horizontal and vertical ID badges, luggage tags with loops, and letter size documents. Repositionable self seal have by far the most options. They offer the standard sizes for wallet items, business cards, and both glossy and matte 4 x 6 photos as well as glossy 5 x 7 photo pouches. However, they have a number of options for letter sized documents. Large glossy photo pouches are great for 8 x 10 photos. NoMistakes letter pouches allow you to reposition items for up to 24 hours. Framed options give certificates and other larger documents a decorative border and preserve them at the same time. And, of course, they offer simply letter size laminating sheets. Another unique option from GBC is self sealing laminating rolls. These come 16" wide in rolls of ten feet. Rolls are excellent for laminating posters and other larger items.

However, it is worth noting that these are not pouches. In order to get two-sided laminate with the roll, you will need to complete the process twice. Now that we've explained the options, here is how to use this laminate. For the pouches, there will be one sheet that will stick and one that won't, which is used for the backing. Center your document on the backing. Peel the liner from 12mm Width Teflon Tape for Water Pump the second sheet and smooth it down onto your project. Press firmly to be sure that it seals. Trim away the excess laminate. Pouches are easier as they come with both pieces. However, the sheets can be handy as well and offer more versatility. They are excellent for mounting items onto posterboard, display boards, walls, and more. Peel back the liner one inch. Center your document face down on the laminate. Press the sticky side to the surface your sheet will be. Slowly peel off the liner, pressing down firmly to seal all sides of laminate. This will adhere your page to just about any smooth surface. And finally, if you want to seal two sheets together, start by peeling back the liner one inch and centering your document face down. Pull the liner all the way off and press down on the back of your document. Peel off the liner of your second sheet about one inch and line it up with the first.

Gently pull off the rest of the liner and seal the two sheets together firmly. Once again, trim off the excess laminate. As you can see, using GBC's Self-Sealing pouches is quite simple. The hardest part is choosing which one will fit your needs best. Next time you're looking to preserve documents on the go, choose GBC.
